Grief and Loss

We find ourselves in a world where we have to face so many different kinds of losses. Though some might seem insignificant, others can be unfathomable. As a counsellor I can help you understanding grief and loss and how to go through the process,  adjusting to a new life.

Couple and Family Therapy

Relationships are most fulfilling and rewarding when there is harmony and understanding. They can, however, be the most challenging when there is conflict and disconnect. Drawing from the Gottman Research-Based Therapy Model, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and a Christian Family Therapy model, I can help you understand yourself better and help you learn from the master-and-disaster relationships, while giving you all the tools you need to thrive in your relationship.

Stress

Not all forms of stress are bad for you. In fact, stress is a normal part of daily life. Being stressed for long periods of time can be very unhealthy, however. It is important to talk to your therapist about your stress levels. I can help you determine what is normal or excessive and assist you in acquiring some strategies to combat the stressors of life.

Supervision

Registered with the Australian Counselling Association and Australasian Association of Supervisors,  I provide individual and group supervision for counsellors and students of counselling.

Anxiety

Anxiety can be debilitating. As a counsellor I will help you unpack your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. The approach involves a holistic (Body, Mind, and Spirt) approach drawing on Acceptance

Commitment Therapy and/ or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Individual Therapy

There are many reasons for coming to counselling . These could include having a safe space to talk about your traumatic past experiences and the impact thereof,   unpacking current frustrations, and your future hopes and dreams. I am here to provide encouragement and hope, helping you to set goals.
