Henrita was born in South Africa and grew up in a loving but sometimes dysfunctional family. She lost her mother to cancer at a young age. In 2007, she immigrated to Australia with her loving family. Henrita has been married for over 22 years and has children and grandchildren. She values faith, courage, hope, and love, which have made her resilient.

Henrita has also trained as a Supervisor with a level 4 status at the Australian Counselling Association. And Australasian Association of Supervision Other training includes Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Existential, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Therapy, Gottman Therapy (level 2), and Veritas Bible College (Module 2) Facilitator
